Best Western Blanche de Castille Dourdan

Restaurant for dinner & breakfast was very good & we ate there every night. The staff were very helpful & the location was good in the centre of town.

We absolutely loved this hotel in this pretty medieval town. We had a suite which was huge and very good value for money. Parking was easy -which for us is important as we travel with bikes on the roof and rear. The room was clean and there was plentiful hot water for showers. A previous review mentions church bells ringing all night but we only heard them once at 8pm when we were sitting outside enjoying a drink in the late evening sun.

We were surprised how lovely the whole hotel was and how friendly the atmosphere was. Check in was so fast - they were expecting us and had our key ready. The hotel accepts dogs so that was wonderful for us that we could travel with our small lovely dog. There was a separate sitting area near the entrance with a fire and comfortable chairs - so this made relaxing even better. The breakfast was good but the fresh baguettes from the local bakery were outstanding.

The history behind it and the beauty of the castle and its surroundings. Also, the towel heater in the bathroom! Room size was great after upgrading to the suite, we had a beautiful terrace.

Amazing restaurant, always packed at night. Reception Helped me through my experience of breaking down at the toll booth. Amazing friendly staff went out of their way to help a guest. Brilliant. Even talked to the tow truck company and the garage and gave he a lift to the garage. Best hotel experience in France.
